As the center of the natural photochemical reaction
porphyrin and its derivates have attracts more attention from the scientists. Aggregates of porphyrin with different optical properties can be obtained from nanometer to micron with various morphologies. 5

20-tetrakis-(4-sulfonatophenyl)-porphyrin (TPPS) can form chiral aggregates under some small perturbations. Cationic block copolymer can form complex aggregates with TPPS or its aggregates through electrostatic interactions. These aggregates have stable and tunable chirality and disperse as colloidal solution with a controllable size. This article reviewed the origin of the chiral aggregate and the latest developments in this field. We mainly discuss the preparation and character of the cationic block copolymer/TPPS complex aggregate based on our published work. Finally
some possible approaches in this field are proposed and the prospective on the future development is tentatively discussed.
