Glycopolymers have attracted increasing attention in the fields of polymer science and material science because of good biocompatibility and biological recognition of sugar moieties. The advances of controlled radical polymerization and "click" chemistry provide versatile approaches to generate various functional glycopolymers with controlled structures. In this paper

new progresses in the synthesis of functional glycopolymers via RAFT polymerization and the combination of controlled radical polymerization and "click" chemistry were introduced. Our researches on stimuli-responsive block glycopolymers and glycopolymer-peptide bioconjugates were also summarized.
