Process Study on Ring-opening Polymerization of Polyglycolic Acid under High Pressure
Ring-opening polymerization of polyglycolic acid (PGA) with high molecular weight under high pressure in reaction still was studied in the presence of glycolide(GA) as monomer and tin(II) chloride dihydrate as catalyst. The influence of synthesis condition on weight-average molecular weight (M

) was investigated by a series of single factor experiments. Orthogonal experiment was carried out to obtain optimum process according the result of single factor experiments. Critical values of technological conditions were obtained by the Analysis of the result of orthogonal experiment with STATISTICA6.0.
