the history of absorptive functional fiber for organic liquids development has been reviewed; different types of polymers and monomers and preparation methods are introduced; the fiber forming mechanisms of absorptive functional fiber are investigated. In addition
this review illustrates the effects of spinning parameters on fiber structures and properties
and then summarizes the recent advances in regeneration and application field. At last
the promising approaches and developing direction are forecasted.
