According to the features of coating chemistry and the requirements for major of material physics
we explored the inquiry teaching and courses teaching during the course of Coating Chemistry theory teaching. The students were encouraged to be bold in exploration and practice. On the other hand
the unpalatable theory
which is difficult to express clearly was found to be very familiar and intuitively clear to most students in the courses teaching. In addition
the experimental teaching was found to be a good way to improve the students’ manipulative ability. While practice teaching could promote application of professional knowledge.
