Because of its inherent characteristics and wide application
Lewis acids have been widely applied in the stereocontrol of radical polymerization. In this paper
a comprehensive review on the Lewis acids mediated stereoregular radical polymerization was made
including the Lewis acids employed
monomers studied
reaction mechanism
and the effect of polymerization condition on the tacticities of the resultant polymers. A short outlook of the future development in the thereof direction was proposed.
