Polymer chemistry is a high theoretical subject covering synthesis and reaction of high molecular compounds
involved with the calculation of some formulas such as polymerization rate and degree of polymerization. But the textbook does not give the derivation process and application of these formulas
how to fully understand and correctly use them is one of the major sticking points in the actual teaching. In this paper
important formulas in the parts of the textbook are studied providing help for better learning and master the theoretical knowledge of polymer chemistry.
