Recent Progress of Synthesis Methods of Conducting Polymers with Micro- and Nano-structures
As a very important kind of novel organic functional materials
micro- and nano-structured conducting polymers have become a hot research topic of organic material science field in recent years. This article mainly reviews the chemical and electrochemical methods for the controllable synthesis of conducting polymers with micro- and nano-structured morphology. The two synthesis methods are further divided into three main aspects: hard-template
soft-template
template-free self-assembly synthesis. In addition
the formation mechanism of conducting polymer micro- and nanostructures
obtained by these methods in previous publications
is discussed.
