Preparation and Application of Star Porphyrinized Poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)
porphyrin compounds have been widely used in photodynamic therapy (PDT) due to their unique photoelectrochemical properties.However
most porphyrin-based compounds have poor water solubility and are prone to uneven distribution of low-molecular aggregation
which limits their application in PDT. Therefore
this article takes advantage of the fact that porphyrin compounds are easily modified
and polymerizes —OH-containing porphyrin with
N
-isopropylacrylamide monomer to form a temperature-sensitive polymer (THPP) by reversible addition cleavage chain transfer radical polymerization-PAM
4
). The temperature sensitivity of the copolymer was studied. The study showed that the copolymer had an LCST value of 32℃. The MTT test results showed that THPP-PAM
4
has good biocompatibility and low dark toxicity to L929 cells and
HeLa
cells. The phototoxicity to HeLa cells was significantly higher than that to L929 cells.
