Local national advanced education takes the development of ethnic regions as its responsibility

The organic combination of local national advanced education and the competency-based training model is an important path for cultivating applied talents with good theoretical literacy and strong execution ability required for regional development.This paper focused on the cultivation of applied talents in ethnic regions based on ability training

and improved the talent training model from three aspects

including talent training model

practical teaching platform

and teaching method reform. Constructed an application-oriented talent training mode led by the ability-based standard to achieve the goal of improving the quality of undergraduate education and teaching in ethnic areas. It also constructed a competency-based application-oriented talent training model to achieve the purpose of improving the quality of undergraduate education and teaching in ethnic regions.
