To improve the quality of experimental teaching and talent cultivation
the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Materials Science and Engineering at Donghua University has innovatively reformed the experimental content by sorting out the problems in the large-scale processing experiments of polymer blending modification. Guided by the integration of science and education
representative cutting-edge scientific research projects were introduced into the polymer processing experiments. A comprehensive experiment on polypropylene flame retardant blending modification was designed
which integrated exploration
interest
and expansion. A full chain training of “literature–formula–process–testing–standard” was constructed
and a process oriented and multi-dimensional comprehensive assessment system was adopted to focus on cultivating students’ ability to solve complex engineering problems
comprehensively improving their innovation ability
practical ability
and comprehensive literacy. At the same time
relying on a blended learning model of online and offline
we will strengthen teacher-student interaction and promote mutual learning.
