Curriculum Design for Graduate Education in Polymer Science under the New Engineering Context
This study addresses curriculum design for graduate education in polymer science within the New Engineering framework. Through in-depth analysis of the characteristics of the polymer discipline and the education objective
we propose a curriculum system structured around the “fundamental-frontier-practice” framework
emphasizing basic courses that integrate fundamental theories with cutting-edge technologies. The curriculum features foundational knowledge depth
interdisciplinary integration
and industry relevance. This study presents a strategic plan for graduate education in polymer science to support the independent innovation and sustainable development of the advanced materials industry in China.
