This paper refers to three kinds of thermo-analysis combination techniques

including thermo- gravimetric analysis coupled with Fourier transform infrared spectrometry (TG-FTIR)

pyrolysis gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (Py/GC-MS)

and thermo-gravimetric-mass spectrum (TG-MS). The review introduces the test methods and principles. The application and development of these combination techniques in the high-temperature resistant polymer in recent years supply practical research methods for material thermal decomposition process and mechanism. This paper also looks forward to the inspect of these methods during the development of thermo-analysis.
