Polyethylene-co-polyvinyl(EVOH) nanofibers were successfully prepared by melt extrusion of immiscible blends. Then the EVOH nanofiber membranes were prepared by wet-laid process. The morphology
crystallization properties of EVOH nanofibers and morphology
porosity
pore size and pore size distribution of EVOH nanofiber membranes were analyzed. The results showed that the average diameter of EVOH nanofibers were around 162-260nm
the processing conditions and method had no significant effect on the structure and crystallization properties of EVOH nanofiber. The pore size and pore size distribution of EVOH nanofiber membranes increased and narrowed with the increasing of thickness of nanofiber membrane respectively. As the increased of EVOH of EVOH/CAB system during the preparation of nanofibers
diameter of nanofibers and porosity of nanofiber membranes increased
however
the specific surface area of nanofiber membrane decreased.
