A comprehensive experiment of preparation of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) based conductive hydrogel is designed. The experimental design includes the preliminary investigation
structure characterization and performance test. The composition and morphology of PEDOT∶PSS/PVA were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and scanning electron microscope (SEM)
respectively. The conductivity of PEDOT∶PSS/PVA was characterized by digital multimeter
and the mechanical properties and strain sensitivity of PEDOT∶PSS/PVA were characterized by universal tensile machine. The results showed that the PEDOT∶PSS/PVA had good mechanical properties
electrical conductivity and strain sensitivity. With the increase of PEDOT∶PSS doping
mechanical properties
the electrical conductivity and strain sensitivity of PEDOT∶PSS/PVA increased. The teaching practice has shown that the designed comprehensive experiment is beneficial for improving students’ ability to comprehensively apply materials and chemistry knowledge
as well as students’ ability to analyze and solve problems besides operational skills.
