Engineering education certification is an important guarantee to improve the quality of engineering education in China. The evaluation of the achievement of graduation requirements is an important part and key content of engineering education certification
and it provides important basis for the reformation of specialty teaching and sustaining improvement. The output oriented evaluation mechanism for the achievement of graduation requirements has been established in the practice of engineering education accreditation process of polymer materials and engineering major in Ludong University. and the application requirements of the evaluation results are confirmed
and satisfactory results have been achieved. This paper describes the establishment and implementation of the evaluation mechanism for the achievement of graduation requirements. The students of polymer materials and engineering major that graduated in 2020 were selected as examples for the evaluation of the graduation requirements
which can provide a reference for the evaluation of graduation requirements of polymer materials and engineering majors
as well as other related majors.
