This paper reviewed the application situations of dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA)technology in the researches of wood plastic composites
and emphasis was put on the summarization of the interfacial compatibility issues of wood plastic composites using dynamic mechanical analysis. When different modifiers were used to improve the interfacial adhesion of wood plastic composites (WPC)
the stiffness of WPC was improved. Compared with untreated composites
the storage modulus of modified composites was higher. It can be concluded that the tanδ of better interfacial compatibility on WPC was lower than bad one due to the strong interfacial adhesion can restrict the filler-matrix motion. Therefore
the glass transition temperature can be moved high temperature. At the same time
the higher interfacial strength indicator and the activation energy for the relaxation process
