Poly (aryl ether) s containing phthalazinone moiety are a series of high-temperature thermoplastic resins with high performance developed by our group
and can be processed in a number ways.They have many advantages including low cost
excellent mechanics properties at high temperature
and good solubility
compared with traditional poly (aryl ether)s.This article briefly introduces the recent progress in thermoplastic composites based on poly (aryl ether) s containing phthalazinone moiety
such as glass fiber reinforced composites
carbon fiber reinforced composites
powder reinforced composites
wear-resistant composites and functional composites.Moreover
the chemical and physical modification of matrix resin
optimization of fillers
and design of manufacture process for composites are also discussed.The thermoplastic composites have excellent comprehensive performance
