Polymer modification is one of the most important specialized courses in the curriculum for the graduate students majoring in polymer materials. The course has the characteristics of comprehension

practicality and frontier. Based on the specialty of the course content and requirement of higher education reform

the current teaching condition and existing problems are analyzed. From the teaching system

testing ways and other aspects

some proposals of teaching reform for polymer modification are proposed. The purpose is to get better teaching effect in limited period. The practice shows that the teaching exploration can stimulate students learning interests and improve student's comprehensive ability.
