Anion exchange membrane fuel cell (AEMFC) has been attracting extensive attention
for it has high energy desity
could use non-noble metal (such as nickel and silver) as catalyst
high catalyst stability and flexible fuel choice. Anion exchange membrane (AEM) is the key components of AEMFC. The commercial AEMs are not suitable for AEMFC applications
due to their low ion conductivity and poor stability. Thus develop AEM for AEMFC application became a hot research topic. In this review
we introduce the property of AEM for AEMFC application
functional method of AEM and summarize the research progress of AEM for AEMFC application.
