Due to their unique topological structure and interesting physical/chemical properties
hyperbranched polymers have attracted wide attention from both academia and industry. As a newly emerging research area
hyperbranched polymers have displayed great potential to be excellent precursors in self-assembly
and many impressive supramolecular aggregates and hybrids at all scales and dimensions have been generated. Micelles are the most common supramolecular structure through the self-assembly of hyperbranched polymers. In this paper
the recent developments in hyperbranched polymers micelles
including self-assembly precursors
self-assembly mechanisms and their applications in biomedical areas
nano-carrier and preparation of metal nanoparticles have been comprehensively reviewed.
