analytical chemistry and chromatographic separation etc. The preparation of crosslinked polymer microspheres and mechanism research of dispersion polymerization have recently become a hot point and been developed rapidly. In this paper
the dispersion polymerization mechanism of the crosslinked PS particles were mainly reviewed. The effects of the monomer
initiators
crosslinker
dispersing agent and reaction medium on controllable preparation of monodisperse crosslinked microspheres were discussed. The development trends and prospects of the micro monodisperse crosslinked PS microspheres were also put forward.
