one is dissociative covalent adaptive networks
represented by the most typical Diels-Alder reaction
which is widely used in the repeated use of materials
self-repairing and so on; The second group is associative covalent adaptive networks
commonly based on the transesterification mechanism
which is also the structural basis used by vitrimer materials. This paper mainly reviews the characteristics of vitrimer materials and discusses the progress of vitrimer materials in recent years based on the different mechanisms of transesterification
