pH value on emulsion synthesis and film properties were discussed.When emulsion was modified by alkyl acrylate phosphate
while
the solid content and the conversion rate of monomer increased. The gel rate and water absorption rate of coating film decreased. The stability of emulsion was improved. The water resistance performance of emulsion and the crosslinking degree of film could be improved by using delayed addition of phosphate ester (0.5% (wt))and adjusting pH value of the reaction system to 5 at 78℃.
