The effects of different antioxidants on the molecular structure
anti-aging effect and mechanical properties of carbon black filled SIBR were studied by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR)
differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)
Mooney viscosity and tensile test. The results showed that the aging process of SIBR was degradation reaction in the early stage and crosslinking reaction in the later. The results of oxidation induction temperature of SIBR raw rubber were consistent with that of infrared spectrum and the raw rubber with antioxidant A had the longest oxidation induction period
which indicated that antioxidant A had the best anti-aging effect. The tensile mechanical properties of SIBR vulcanizate filled with carbon black showed that the anti-aging effect of antioxidant was improved with the increase of carbon black content.
