The calculation of the gel point is the key knowledge point of three-dimensional polycondensation. Through the problem oriented deep learning method
during the process of questions were solved by learners based on discussion
questions
and exploration
some vague knowledge points were clarified and explained. For example
the limitations of Carother’s equation and its application to calculate the degree of polymerization and formula design were clarified. The limitations of Flory’s theory and the development process of gel point theory were also discussed. A closed loop of knowledge is formed through a combination of theory and practical experiments. Based on deep learning
students’ higher-order and critical thinking are formed and enhanced
and their subjectivity and creativity are stimulated.
