and applied chemistry majors at our university. In the context of new engineering discipline construction and the AI era
we identified several challenges in the teaching process
such as lack of engineering thinking
cognitive misunderstandings
absence of real-world industrial cases
and insufficient integration of the course with innovation and entrepreneurship education. To address these issues
we have initiated and implemented an integrated classroom teaching reform with five dimensions: “ideological and political leadership + university-enterprise collaboration + AI assistance + modular expansion + assessment reform.” By integrating ideological and political elements with course content
combining theoretical knowledge with practical enterprise production
merging classroom teaching with AI technology
and linking material development with innovation and entrepreneurship
we stimulated students’ interest in studying
enhanced their enthusiasm
cultivated their independent and dialectical thinking abilities
and strengthened their sense of patriotism and social responsibility. This educational reform practice meets the demands of this era and provides an important reference for high-level course construction.
