Polymer layered silicate (PLS) nanocomposites are of a novel type of advance composites
which have been studied for about 10years.They have unique structures as well as mechanical
thermal and gas/liquid barrier properties than their conventional counterparts.PLS nanocomposites play an important role in scientific research and technical application. In this paper
the recent developments in preparation
characterization and analysis of thermodynamics and kinetics of PLS nanocomposites are reviewed with 62 references.
