Particle-filled polymers(including polymer-based nanocomoposites) usually exhibit higher moduli
variation in frequency dependence and the yield behavior of concentrated filled systems
which is distinctly different from the Rheology of plain polymers.Furthermore
these rheological characteristics could be influenced by many factors such as the filler' s loading
shape
size
and the interaction between particles and polymers. The rheological behavior of filled-polymers is closely associated with the formation and evolution of microstructure involved in materials as well as the damped relaxation processes under specific conditions. In this paper
the rheological characteristics of filled polymers(including polymer-based nanocomposites) under the force field and various influencing factors acted on them were reviewed
especially elucidating the rheological mechanism of polymer-based nanocomposites and Leonov model used to describe rheological behaviors of filled polymers.
