The preparation of organic-inorganic hybrid materials comprising of the entirely new silsesquioxane-based polymers were described. Polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) -based hybrid materials have excellent properties for the molecule hybrid system based on the chemical bonding. The structure and the preparation as well as the properties of the POSS-based polymers were discussed in this article.
