A well-defined block copolymer of poly(DMAEMA-b-TMS) was synthesized via ATRP. The obtained poly (DMAEMA-b-TMS) could be self-assembled into vesicles in methanol/water mixture. In addition
the structure of the vesicles was fixed through the crosslinking via polycondensation through the hydrolysis of -Si(OCH

groups. The vesicles were characterized by laser light scattering studies and by SEM and TEM analysis. The vesicles are thermo-and pH-sensitive. The solid vesicle particles can easily be redissolved and reprecipitated by manipulating the temperature or pH of the solution and the process is fully reversible.
