Ultra-high density data storage materials have become the current hot research topic. In this paper

the study in our group on the research progress of organic information storage materials have been introduced

especially the multi-level storage materials. Moreover

the unique multi-charge traps mechanism

which can realize electrical multi-stable states and multi-level data storage

was proposed and applied in the design of multilevel memory materials. And it can also provide a new way of thinking and new materials for the development of high density information storage.
