Polyamide 6(PA6)/ionic liquids composite membranes were prepared by electrospinning with formic acid as solvent. The viscosity and conductivity of the solution were characterized by using rotational viscometer and the conductivity meter
and the effect of different ionic liquids content on the morphology
thermal
mechanical property and electrical properties of PA6/ionic liquids composite membranes was investigated by using scanning electron microscope (SEM)
differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)
fiber tensile tester and surface resistance testing. The results showed that the change of the solution viscosity was not obvious
while the conductivity of the solution increased rapidly with increasing the content of ionic liquids ; The diameters of PA6 fibers increased gradually with increasing the content of ionic liquids. Moreover
PA6 fibers had an alignment trend. When the amount of ionic liquids was 9% (wt)
the cluster phenomenon appeared; The melting point
crystallinity and tensile strength of PA6/ionic liquids composite membranes all decreased with increasing the content of ionic liquids. However
the elongation at break increased with increasing the content of ionic liquids. The surface resistance of PA6/ionic liquids composite membranes was significantly reduced by adding ionic liquids.
