Structure and Ingredient of Polymer Based on Photothermal Induced IR and TG/MS
The structure and component are the most important factors which influence the mechanical and chemical properties of materials. However
polymer materials are mainly composed of carbon
hydrogen and oxygen
so it is difficult to determine the structural information of the materials only by component analysis. Infrared spectroscopy and thermal analysis are two important methods to analyze the structural of polymer materials. However
the traditional infrared spectrum technology has high requirements on samples
so it is difficult to test samples directly without destroying the samples. Photo thermal induced infrared spectroscopy is used to characterize the sample surface without destroying the sample in this paper. At the same time
the thermal gravimetric-mass spectrum (TG-Ms) are also employed to analyze the structure of polymer materials which provides a new idea for the information analysis of polymer chain segments.
