Thermo-sensitive Pickering Emulsions Based on Chitosan/Sodium Hyaluronate Colloids and Their Application in Biocatalysis
a thermo-sensitive Pickering emulsion was prepared using self-assembled colloidal particles loaded-lipase as emulsifiers and n-hexadecane as oil phase. Through changing the temperature
the lipase at the interface of Pickering emulsion droplets is easy to be recycled. Firstly
lipase and negatively charged sodium hyaluronic acid (HA) were added into positively charged chitosan (CS) solution. The self-assembled lipase@chitosan/sodium hyaluronate colloidal particles (CRL@CS/HA CPs) are formed because of the electrostatic interactions between CS
HA and CRL. The lipase was loaded in the colloidal particles and its stability was improved. To construct a thermo-sensitive Pickering emulsion
the prepared CRL@CS/HA CPs was used as stabilizer
and n-hexadecane as oil phase. By changing the temperature
the oil phase undergoes solidification and dissolution
realizing the separation of oil and water and thus the recycling of CRL@CS/HA CPs.
