本文综述了液晶弹性体的分子设计方法，物理性质及可能的应用领域等液晶弹性体的最新研究结果。

Abstract

This short review describes the most recent advances in the study on liquid crystalline elastomers(LCE). LCE exhibits liquid crystalline state that resembles to its precursor in the uncrosslinked state

also its elastic properties are different from conventional elastomers.The most interesting phenomena of smectic C

LCE is piezoeleltric property which might be useful in waveguide and piezoelectric sensor.
