Abstract

In this review

the space-grade RTV silicone materials and their outgassing property of heat vacuum are presented. Spare-grade silicone materials were exposed to a vacuum of 1.33 ×10

-4

Pa and a temperature of about 125℃ for 24 hours. Total weight loss of the material is less than 1% . The product is treated by liquid-liquid extraction or thermal vacuum to reduce weight loss and vapor condensation under vacuum.
