偏光片是薄膜晶体管液晶显示(TFT-LCD)和有机发光二极管显示面板(OLED)中核心组件之一,包含偏光膜、支撑膜、相位差膜以及膜间的胶黏剂如水性黏合剂、压敏胶。其核心功能层为聚乙烯醇偏光膜。偏光膜的加工涉及光学级聚乙烯醇树脂原料合成与PVA-碘系偏光膜的加工过程,后者包含流延成膜、碘染、硼酸交联和拉伸等多个加工步骤。揭示真实加工工况下多尺度凝聚态结构和动力学演变规律是构建聚乙烯醇光学膜分子-加工-性能关系的关键。本文系统介绍近年来围绕聚乙烯醇光学膜加工开展的系统研究工作,主要包含(1)聚乙烯醇溶液流延成膜,(2)塑化聚乙烯醇薄膜凝聚态结构与动力学,(3)聚乙烯醇碘染机理,(4)聚乙烯醇硼酸交联机理等。发挥固体核磁共振和同步辐射X射线散射技术的先进表征优势,获取真实加工工况下凝聚态结构和动力学演化规律,为先进偏光膜制造提供基础原理指导。
Polariziers are a core component in thin film transistor liquid crystal displays (TFT-LCD) and organic light-emitting diode display panels (OLED)

and adhesives such as aqueous binders and pressure-sensitive adhesives. The core functional layer is the poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) polarizing film. Processing of the polarizing film involves the synthesis of optical-grade polyvinyl alcohol resin and the processing of PVA-iodine polarizing films
which includes steps such as cast film formation
iodine doping
boric acid crosslinking and stretching. Revealing the multiscale condensed-state structure and dynamic evolution under real processing conditions is crucial for establishing the molecular-processing-performance relationships of PVA optical films. This review systematically introduces recent systematic research on the processing of PVA optical films
primarily covering: (1) the cast films of PVA
(2) the condensed-state structure and dynamics of plasticized PVA films
(3) the mechanism of iodine dyeing of PVA
(4) the mechanism of boric acid crosslinking of PVA. Leveraging the advanced characterization capabilities of solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance techniques and synchrotron X-ray scattering to obtain the condensed-state structure and dynamics evolution under actual processing conditions
providing fundamental guidance for the manufacturing of advanced polarizing films.
