because of the extensive application of polymer blends filled with particles
the research of the structure of polymer composites is important. In addition to studying the dispersion of particles in polymeric matrix
many works focused on the effect of fillers on the phase separation in polymer blends. The results show that the size
the surface treatment and the content of particles influence the thermodynamics and dynamics of phase separation in polymer blends. However
some factors lead to the complexity of phase behavior of the polymer blend-fillers system
such as the selective adsorption of particles
the wetting of polymer components on particles and the retardance of phase domains by particles. This paper will review the foundation theories and experiment results of phase separation in polymer blend-fillers system
introduce the influencing factors of phase separation
and prospect the research trend and foreground of this realm.
