environment friendly and the capability of being fabricated to flexible screen. White polymer light-emitting diodes (WPLEDs) have been attracting considerable attention due to their potential applications in large-area flat panel displays and solid-state lighting because they can be easily fabricated using wet processes
including the spin-coating
screen printing
and ink-jet printing techniques
which are expected to be lower in cost in mass production. In this paper
the domestic research progress on white-light-emitting-polymers and polymer white light-emitting diodes were introduced from two aspects.Besides
the application of this kind of diodes and the future of this research field as well as some questions which needed to be solved urgently were also discussed in detail.
