Polyaniline ( PAn) was electropolymerized on Ti-based metal electrode and Platinum was loaded on Polyaniline
Pt/PAn/Ti was prepared by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and was characterized by SEM and CV. Influence of platinum quantity and function of PAn were investigated by reseaching electrocatalytic oxidatiom of formaldehyde on Pt/ PAn/Ti electrode. The result showed that electrocatalytic oxidation effect of formaldehyde has relationship with platinum quantity. Platinum microparticles were dispersed better and they had bigger effective area
compared with the Pt/Ti electrode deposited the same platinum quantity
the peak current of formaldehyde in the positive scanning increase 2. 3 times and oxidation potential was negative by about 40mV on Pt/PAn/Ti electrode. The peak current of formaldehyde in the negative scanning increase about 5 times and oxidation potential was negative by about 30mV. At the same time
the result show too that the anti poisoning ability of Pt/PAn/Ti electrode was increased because of PAn.
