Polyolefin alloys have attracted lots of attentions due to its excellent comprehensive properties. In this paper
polymerization progresses of polyolefin alloys were reviewed systematically from the aspects of catalyst systems and polymerization processes. The features of polymerization processes of polyolefin alloys were illustrated briefly. Typical polymerization processes based on the reactor granule technology
such as Spheripol process
Catalloy process and Spherizone process
were discussed in detail. It was noted that development of novel polyolefin materials based on the reactor granule technology from the 4th generation catalyst and the multicatalyst reactor granule technology from the two-component catalyst technology will be the researching direction in the future.
