This paper combined with the present situation of the undergraduate scientific research training at Zhejiang University of Technology and firstly discussed the problems existing in the current undergraduate scientific research training. Then
the College of materials science and engineering in Zhejiang University of Technology was chosen as an experimental unit to test the diversified forms of scientific research training based on scientific research training course group and activity platform construction through "tutorial system". The specific contents of the reform and practice included optimization of the talents cultivation process
