Hydrosilylation is one of the most important reactions in organosilicon chemistry
by which Si-X bond can be constructed. Using favorable monomers and catalysts
polymers with different structures and unique functions can be prepared through hydrosiltlation polymerization
which is a frontier in polymer chemistry. In this paper
hydrosilylation polymerization of olefins
alkynes
aldehydes and ketones
as well as nonlinear hydrosilylation polymerization are mainly introduced. We focus on the molecular weight and properties of polymers obtained from diverse systems. By summarizing the previous works of hydrosilylation polymerization
it is hoped to give some ideas and inspirations for related researchers.
