Polymer physics is an important professional basic course of students majoring in polymer materials and engineering. "Crystallization" is an important concept in aggregation structure of polymer. Large molecular weight and long chain molecular structure make the crystallization process of polymers more complicated compared with that of small molecules. In the teaching process of polymer physics
we introduce students the relationship between crystallization and ordered
chain flexibility
glass transition temperature
and put some concepts in series
which are related to crystallization (such as crystallinity
crystallization temperature
melting point and crystallization rate). The aim is to establish scientific cognitive system about polymer crystalline structure for students in their preliminary stage. Practices show that the majority of students have a good understanding and mastery of these teaching contents through this way.
