Porous organic polymers (POPs) are a kind of new functional polymer materials
which have the advantages of high specific surface area
good stability and easy functionalization. POPs have shown potential applications in gas storage and separation
sensing
organic photoelectrics and heterogeneous catalysis. This review summarizes the progress for organic conversions by POPs as heterogeneous photocatalysts under visible light excitation. The structural design concept of POPs based photocatalysts was analyzed. And the types and catalytic properties of photocatalytic organic reactions by POPs were summarized. Finally
the existing problems and the opportunities of POPs in this field were also evaluated. We hope that this paper can give some ideas and inspirations to researchers engaged in relevant work.
