Yu-feng DUAN. Discussion on Case-based Teaching of Polymer Interfaces and Blends for Postgraduate[J]. Polymer Bulletin, 2018,31(7):118-122. DOI: 10.14028/j.cnki.1003-3726.2018.07.015.
Case-based teaching is an effective method to enhance postgraduate students' ability in practices. The Polymer Interfaces and Blends involves polymer synthesis
microstructure
adhesion
blending
processing
composite and etc.
and is appropriate for case-based teaching for postgraduate students. Case is the first element of case teaching. Case-based teaching should be around the curriculum content
select the cases from production or research practice
and pay attention to the latest technology. Eight true cases from production or research practice
corresponding to the eight topics related to the curriculum content
were selected to be analyzed in the author's class. The teaching course included 5 parts: question
theory
discussion
comment and summary. The teaching strategies should be meticulously designed in order to promote the students to understand the theories more deeply and acquire the capacity for practice. The strategies should also aim to help students broaden their professional horizons and develop their creative ability.
