Some problems were found when students were learning "Research Methods of Polymer Materials"

including that the basic knowledge was not solid

the ability to use knowledge and comprehensively analyze problems was poor. Based on the concept of "engineering education accreditation"

referring to as "student-centered

outcome-based and continuous quality improvement" and at the same time

taking into consideration of the characteristics of the curriculum

this study suggested methods to reform teaching design

for example

selecting appropriate teaching strategy for different content

designing "teacher-oriented

student-centered" teaching process and setting up diverse teaching evaluation system. Simultaneously

in the process of teaching implementation

heuristic teaching

interactive teaching

problem-oriented teaching and combination of theory and practice should be adopted to improve teaching quality and learning efficiency.
