The introduction of advanced CIDO engineering education mode in the training process of engineering students plays an important role in training students' practical and innovative abilities. Based on the analysis of the teaching characteristics of the course Plastic Products Design
this paper introduces the CAE/CAE technology into the course teaching
and makes a useful exploration. It is not only of great significance to improve the teaching effect of the course
but also promotes students to learn and apply the CAD/CAE software. On this basis
the rapid development of 3D printing technology is applied to the course teaching
which helps students to understand advanced technology
stimulate students' interest in learning and improve students’ innovative ability.
