Functionalized carbon nanotubes/polymer composites have been widely used in energy storage and electronic devices due to their excellent properties. In this paper
three methods for functionalizing carbon nanotubes are introduced firstly. Then
the preparation processes of functionalized carbon nanotubes/polymer composites
including new preparation techniques such as electrospinning
electrodeposition and 3D printing which have emerged in recent years
are classified and summarized. At last
the research development of functionalized carbon nanotubes/polymer composites in the fields of supercapacitors
electromagnetic interference shielding and sensors is reviewed. Based on the literature
the future development directions of functionalized carbon nanotubes/polymer composites are prospected.
